Chad Lucas
Chad C. Lucas earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with honors from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1998. During his time at Mizzou, Chad was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity, made the Dean’s List every semester and was on Bright Flight scholarship. Chad graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 2001, where he earned the Ross T. Roberts scholarship and was a semi-finalist in the law school moot court competition.
From 2001 to 2005, Chad worked at a large firm in Kansas City spending the majority of his time representing defendants in personal injury, wrongful death and product liability litigation. In 2005, Chad joined Evans & Kuhlman, LLC where he continued his practice, but shifted to the representation of plaintiffs. At The Kuhlman Law Firm, he continues to seek justice and fair compensation for those who have been the victim of defective products and the wrongful actions of others.
Chad is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of Missouri and Kansas. Chad has represented clients in cases in numerous other states including New York, Texas, Illinois and Wisconsin. He is a member of the Attorneys Information Exchange Group (AIEG), the American Association of Justice (AAJ), the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA), the Kansas Association for Justice (KsAJ), the Christian Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA), the Missouri Bar Association, the Kansas Bar Association, the American Bar Association (ABA), the Johnson County Bar Association and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA).
Chad was born and raised in St. Joseph, Missouri. He currently lives in Leawood, Kansas with his wife and two boys. Chad is a member of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas.
