I have spent my career battling the world’s largest corporations on behalf of my clients.  I have tried and/or litigated cases against General Motors Corporation, Ford Motor Company, DaimlerChrysler Corporation, Mazda Motor Corporation, Toyota Motor Corporation, Honda Motor Co. Ltd, Kia Motors Corporation, Nissan Motor Corporation, Magna International of America, Inc., Intier Automotive Seating of America, Inc., TRW Automotive, DuckBoo International Co. Ltd., DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc., Taser International, Inc., Kuhn-Knight, Inc., Metabolife International, Inc., GNC, Inc., Walgreens Co., Vermeer Manufacturing Company, Isuzu Motors Limited, Autoliv, Inc., Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, Maremont Exhaust Products, Inc., AutoZone, Inc., Deffenbaugh Industries, Inc., ArvinMeritor, Inc. and Johnson & Johnson.  I have pursued these corporations on theories relating to defective fuel systems, vehicle fires, airbags, seatbelts, seat failures, structural defects, vehicle rollovers, roof crush, vehicle stability and occupant protection. 

These cases have been litigated in state and federal courts in Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Arkansas, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Kansas, Washington, California, and Hawaii.  We have represented consuming clients who have been burned, paralyzed, lost a limb, suffered brain injury or lost a loved one.  My firm and I have taken on these multi-national corporations aggressively and without fear of failure.

I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and went on to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia Law school.  I graduated from law school cum laude and was a member of the Missouri Law Review and Order of the Coif.  I currently serve in leadership positions both in the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys as a member of the Board of Governors since 1998 and in the Attorneys Information Exchange Group, a collection of the best product liability lawyers in America as a member of the Board of Directors since 2002.  I have spoken widely to consumer and lawyer groups and published repeatedly on issues of product liability and automotive defects.  I am licensed to practice law in both Missouri and Illinois.
